Scheduler module: rewritten

On the long plane ride home from London today (I was out there building the new MTV.co.uk site that is going live early August 2006, see some pictures), I decided to completely rewrite the scheduler module. I based the rewrite upon an earlier article I wrote about the TWiT.tv site where I was using a simple publishing nodes technique.

I talked with Gerhard Killesreiter who maintains the Drupal CVS repository and he said the scheduler module was mostly abandoned and needed some love.

Sushi Go-Round, from London

Here’s a great movie Matt put together, capturing the sushi conveyor at Itsu, the place I mentioned in a previous post.

Live from London

Whew! Yeah so I was going to try and do daily updates from London, but boy, that has not worked out like I had planned. Been extremely busy over the past few days, working all day and then either hopping right into happy hour or burning the midnight oil (like last night).

London… wow, what a fabulous city! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get out here, I absolutely love it. Over the past few days I’ve seen some of the most amazing European cars and eaten some of the best food ever. I’ve already seen 2 Lamborghini Gallardos, 3 Ferrari 430s, 2 Aston Martins, including one with this unique reflective metallic paint that could look gold or purple depending upon the angle, and countess Porsche 911 turbos, along with a BMW Z8 hardtop parked on the street last night. Crazy!

Going to London tomorrow!

That’s right, I’m going to London tomorrow! We’ve just landed a killer project at Lullabot. So killer in fact, we had to sign an NDA, so I can’t even tell anyone what we’re actually doing out there!

But I can tell you I’ll be staying at this swank hotel, apparently right in the heart of the city. And on Monday night we have tickets to the CobraVision Awards, along with VIP tickets to the after party. And there are a few other amazing events too, but I can’t mention those just yet.
